We introduced our buck Rex back to the ladies at the end of July. Jaina came into heat pretty much immediately and we expect her to have babies on or just after Christmas of this year if the breeding took. Magda we haven't witnessed a breeding but there's been signs of heat so we expect she might be up to 10-12 days after Jaina. If you are going to be in the market for purebred Nubians in the winter/spring we should have a few this season.

This gorgeous beefy bean burrito is our future Boer stud, Halsin. He is an ABGA registered 100% Boer buck. We plan to do dairy crosses with him for meat when we don't need more dairy does. We're looking forward to seeing how he develops, he's a real good looking boy. The ladies seem to think so too, they keep flirting with him and ignoring poor Rex. He's also very sweet and loves scritches.

People have been asking about quarters since we started offering hogs for sale, as half and whole hogs are simply a lot for most people. While none of the local butchers seem to offer a quarter option, we've decided to try and do a work around for folks. You pre order and pay for your pork like you would a half or whole, but instead of sending in a cut sheet for each person, we send in one and we divide the pig up evenly amongst the buyers and you can then pick it up at the farm.
